my norton 360 just ran out, and i liked it but im not shur if i want to pay 150 bucks for 2 more years. i saw much cheaper stuff like norton 2009 but idk if its good. what is good for the price as well as its quality to protect me. i use limewire, tvshack.net, and download a lot of ****… I also have windows vista

from viruses? also i have advanced system care and CCleaner to clean my computer, do i need anything else?

you are on the internet. If this is true, is there a way to prevent anyone from knowing it?

I am fixing my families home set up. It lags really bad and has random pop ups. I need the best anti-virus software that is free. And i need to know how to clean it up so the pop ups and laging will cease.

I downloaded Panda Antivirus 2006 like a 1 year ago and want to get rid of it for some reason when i tried to go to add/remove programs and click on remove for it nothing happnens i waited and waited and still nothing i tired to delete the files manually but it wondnt let me. what should i do?

I’ve tried multiple ways of getting rid of this b@stard thing, but it seems that as soon as a solution is found, the virus blocks contact with any sort of security site or way to knock it on the head.
Should I just nuke the PC and start again, or is there a guaranteed fix somewhere.
Thanks… I hope.

I’m interested to know what motivates someone to purchase software for their personal use.
If you know of an article online or otherwise, please point me to it. Your opinions are welcome too.

Not just a download that only scans then wants me to buy but something I can download and use that is free? Thanks!!!

The first one I bought at a police auction. it is an IBM, It is password protected so I have never been able to get into it. It has the monitor, Mouse and keyboard with it. I dont know how old it is but usually the police department replaces there computers every 2 years or so.
The second Is a HP. The cord on the monitor has some bent prongs so it wont plug into the back of the pc. It is about 5 years old and has speakers, mouse and keyboard, it also has a cd burner in it. But the problem is it wont boot up. It gets to the menu where you choose which person to log in on (windows ME) But when I try to log in, it says I need to install Windows and the virtual memory is too low.
I want to get rid of them because they are taking up space in my garage, I dont know much about computers so I will never be able to fix them. I was planning on putting them in my garage sale this weekend with MAKE AN OFFER on them. What should I accept as an offer for each of them?

What is the best piece of software to print documents straight to PDF format?
I just want it for printing pages off the internet and saving on my computer as a PDF file.
Thanks!
