I have been using Norton Antivirus 2007 for some time now without absolutely no problem, but when I installed Norton ghost 12 this morning I started getting error code 0×000003e8.
If I disable Norton ghost and do a system restart the problem will be solved but the moment I double click Norton ghost system tray icon, Norton antivirus pops up error 0×000003e8 again.
I ran symantec error correction stuff and it said it could not repair.
Is their any other way to solve this problem?

I deleted it from the programs and it is still popping up whenever I go to another site (took me forever, it seems, to get here, YA) When I clicked to come to YA..A pop up came up directing me to a porn site or to a site to clear my pc of infections! What is going on..please help me..?!

I am running windows xp and have recently downloaded several programs that say they are free but they only scan for free they don’t remove anything. You have to pay for that service. If someone can tell me where to get a free copy of one that will remove the garbage let me know. If it works you will surely get ten points…

Is it good to run a boot up scan with avast.

I tried downloading some music files from the internet and then I got a flashing message on my screen saying “warning dangerous spyware – there are many viruses found on your computer”. The desktop background has also turned black.
There is a red circle with a white cross in the taskbar saying to download an anti spyware tool.
How do you fix this

I have a 2 gigabyte one and i want to store avast into it, so i can download the program into my other virus-full computer because the internet doesn’t work on it, and programs randomly close sometimes. Is the flash drive able to hold a file so large?
